Saturday at the market
English · Level A1 · about 2 minutes
Every Saturday morning, Ama walks to the market near her house. She leaves home at seven o'clock because the market is busy later.
She buys tomatoes, onions and fresh bread. The bread costs five cedis. Ama always talks to the woman who sells fruit, because the woman is her neighbour.
After shopping, Ama drinks tea at a small shop and reads the newspaper. She goes home at nine o'clock.
